Lately...

To celebrate Mardi Gras, our mystery readers, Gabby's parents, read books to us about Mardi Gras, brought masks, beads, and a king cake for us to share!  We had so much fun learning about Mardi Gras traditions.  We even had a friend find the baby inside the king cake!

Dentist, Dr. Powell, visited us to teach us about dental health!  We enjoyed learning about how to keep our teeth healthy.

We went outside to catch snowflakes on black paper and enjoyed running in the snow!

Snakes

The students enjoyed learning about snakes and constructing a snake to add to our rainforest!  They chose to use tights and stuff with paper to create a body with scales.  They also painted spots on our snake.  Check out our completed project and all of our learning documented on our snake web!
