The White House

In honor of President's Day we have been learning about presidents and The White House!  The students documented their learning together as seen in the webs below and also in their USA Notebooks. 

 

The students created a plan to create a White House for our classroom and signed up for jobs.  They worked very hard.  Check out our completed White House below!

Ms. Annie and White House Construction

Ms. Annie visited us this week to teach us about the human body!  She also taught us some fun experiements the children can do at home.

 

 

 

 

This week we also began learning about presidents and The White House in honor of President's Day and our United States unit!  We have learned lots of new and interesting facts about our presidents and The White House through research online and in books.  We even began constructing our very own "White House" for our classroom complete with a Red Room, Green Room, Blue Room and Oval Office!
