Snakes

The students voted to learn about snakes for our United States unit.  This week we researched snakes through books and online resources.  We learned many new and interesting facts about snakes and created our own snakes for our rainforest environment.  We also documented our learning in our United States notebooks.

Penguins and Polar Bears with Ms. Annie

Ms. Annie visited us today to teach us about penguins and polar bears!  We got to take a "polar bear plunge" by putting one hand in ice water and the other in a layer of fat and blubber to experience how polar bear's fat and blubber keeps them warm in icy water.

Ask your child what they learned about penguins and polar bears!
